Just like your parents think of Genesis when they hear the words "rock and roll," most people think of elaborate costumes, elves, hobbits, vampires and sexy anime at the mention of cosplay. But many cosplayers take a much more mellow approach to their costuming. For example: The deadpan humor of "Daria" has transcended mere cult TV status and entered the realm of mellow-obsessed convention fans.
Young women and some guys are posting photos of themselves dressed as Daria Morgendorffer, Jane Lane, Quinn, Trent and other Lawndale locals. Sometimes the costumes are dead-on, sometimes not; other times they make us realize how much we always wanted to sleep with Daria, Jane, or both at the same time.
