The battle for the funniest Super Bowl commercial is an extremely expensive game within the game. Ridiculous 30-second spots are part of the reason non-football fans tune in, and incredibly, the ads also command the full attention of hard-core fans. This year, Super Bowl commercials are going for an average of $3.5 million for half a minute.
Who can forget Volvo's "The Force" commercial last year, which thrust a 6-year-old mini Darth Vader into the spotlight? It wasn't the funniest but definitely the most memorable. We're going to focus on the funniest here, where Bud Light is king and office monkeys aren't necessarily king makers.
